2013 Buick Verano Turbo powered 250 HP with six-speed manual

2013 Buick Verano Turbo – Verano Turbo powered 250 horsepower, 260 pound-feet of torque with an available six-speed manual transmission. Buick Verano Turbo suported by 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo from the engine bay of its larger Buick Regal GS sibling to create a new higher-performance compact mid-luxury sedan.

The Turbo model is packed with standard equipment, including all of the optional goodies found in the Leather and Convenience packages of the standard Verano. That means things like heated leather surfaces on the seats and steering wheel, a premium nine-speaker Bose audio system, sport pedals, dual exhaust and a rear spoiler are all standard, as well as Buick’s IntelliLink infotainment system.

Buick estimates a zero-to-60 time of 6.2 seconds for the new car, which compares with a 6.7-second sprint for the 270 horsepower, 295 lb-ft of torque Regal GS. Credit the Verano’s Turbo’s lighter weight for allowing it to outperform its more powerful big brother. The tri-shield brand promises highway fuel economy of at least 30 mpg. Pricing will be announced closer to the Verano Turbo’s on-sale date later this year.
