Spofec does the 2014 Rolls-Royce Wraith

Rolls-Royce Wraith might not be your first choice when you decide to upgrade a vehicle, but Novitec’s Spofec could change the way you think. The company has just unveiled its tuning programme for the elegant British coupe and we might admit that we fell in love again!

According to the official press release, the tuning kit developed for the Rolls-Royce Wraith is made out of carbon fiber and includes a new front bumper and two front flaps upgrading the front grille. Moreover, the new side sills give the vehicle a lower and longer visual stance, while the air extractors located behind the front wheel arches complete the look.

At the rear, there is a new bumper and a new subtle spoiler made of clear-coated carbon fibers. The design is completed by the 22-inch Spofec SP1 wheels, which are tailor-made for the Wraith. Behind the wheels, there is a new Spofec carbon-ceramic high-performance braking system with vented discs which measure 405 x 30 and 395 x 38 mm.

SPOFEC tweaks the Rolls Royce Wraith

Spofec developed a special control module for the air suspension, which can bring the vehicle 40 mm closer to the ground at speeds below 140 km/h (86 mph). Meanwhile, the 6.6-liter V12 engine received a plug-and-play N-TRONIC module, which increases the power by 85 hp (62.5 kW) and 186 Nm.

The total output delivered by the engine is 717 hp (527 kW) and 986 Nm of torque, which translates into a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.2 seconds, while top speed remains limited at 250 km/h or 155 mph.

A proper sound of the engine is ensured by the new Spofec stainless-steel sports exhaust system as well as by an actively controlled butterfly valve that offers an electronic sound management feature. [source: Spofec]
