Aframe Cabin w, This cabin behind me is charming. We’re at Harvest Moon acres today. We’re going to be taking a tour of this place. We are here in New York during peak fall foliage. It cannot be a better time. Let’s go and check this place out. Today we are in the Catskills region of New York, and we are right in the peak of fall foliage, so the leaves are turning these beautiful colors everywhere.
And I couldn’t ask for a more beautiful landscape. We are at the Harvest Moon acres, this great Airbnb frame cabin in Stamford, New York, only three hours away from New York City. Anyway, the drive here is so beautiful with the mountains and the hills everywhere. The trees are all, of course, magnificent, and it’s just a beauty to be up here. Then you make it to the Harvest Moon acres, a six-acre property all to yourself, and you’re a frame cabin. On the outside, this cabin looks stunning. The huge windows in the front with the deck, the black wood with the light wood trim all around, and the unique shape.

But as we move along the back of the structure, it morphs into a more typical shape for a home square. This allows for a unique layout inside, and much more space than a typical frame since a lot of space is taken up from the walls slanting in. Let’s head inside now and see what I mean. You walk through the sliding door in the front and into your cabin. The first section is the A-frame part and your living space, and here is the perfect spot to get all cozy for your fall or winter stay. There is a couch right in the middle with the coffee table and a beautiful gas fireplace right in front of you.

It warms this place up and is the perfect spot to spend your evening at and watch the leaves because the couch also faces all the windows the front of this cabin has to offer, and this lets you look out into the open view this property has in your outdoor deck. Next to the fireplace, back inside, is a table with all of your games, books, and record player with several records to choose from. Savannah is a big music person. So this is always fun to get through. Behind this is your spiral staircase, which we’ll get to in a bit, and a desk that has the guidebook and guestbook for this cabin. It can also be used to work if needed. Speaking of working, the Wi-Fi here is crazy fast, which is impressive for our location.
This living room also has a TV on the other side for movies, a chair under this window for some reading or drinking coffee, and a dining table tucked up against this wall. There’s a basket where the hosts generously provide a local bottle of wine and a couple of smores packs for the fire pit outside. This living room has a lot to offer, and since the frame shape is so wide, the walls don’t take up too much room. I love all the wood that’s on the ceiling and the window trim. It makes the perfect cabin feel and smells great. Now we will continue to this cabin and into the middle portion, which is your kitchen space.

Your kitchen is in this L shape with your refrigerator in the bar chart on the opposite side in the refrigerator that provides eggs, butter creamer, and local maple syrup for you. There’s nothing more frustrating than having coffee but no sugar or creamer at your Airbnb. Speaking of coffee, the first thing on your counter is the coffee and tea section. plenty of ways to make coffee here, like Chemex or French press. They even leave the whole coffee beans so you can grind them for maximum freshness. The countertop is this nice wood with a live edge cut. It looks great in the blue cabinets neath that have a lot of kitchen supplies in them.
Trust me. Some states give you the essentials. This place feels like I’m living here. There’s also a dishwasher and arrange in here to cook and clean. The backsplash tile is nothing like I’ve seen before. It’s not just this white, rectangular subway tile, it’s matte, and it’s a rough touch feeling tile, and I’m all for it. The door off to the right is the pantry that houses some pancake mix, a waffle iron, and much more. The hosts are making the guests their top priority here. If you asked me, the door of this kitchen is to your bathroom in here. To your left is this massive wooden vanity in the bathroom necessities along with your sink, gorgeous tile in here, and just an overall clean look.

Neutral colors work so well, as the host said here, with white sheets and black pillows. They let the throw blanket at the bottom do all the color and everything, and it matches in here very well. The interior design is nothing but great. Another side has a dresser and two closets. One is probably locked for cleaning supplies, but the other open up into the washer and dryer. Having it in the bedroom makes the perfect white noise while sleeping. There’s a shiplap for the bottom half for the texture and the good look in the natural wood trim and the details everywhere, from the vaulted ceilings with the wood beams across and the wooden doors. It’s a great design.

And lastly, this door leads out into your back patio area, with just a couple of chairs in some great views. Now let’s head back to the front of the house, up to your spiral staircase, and into the loft. When you walk up here, there’s a small door etched down to this wall. It looks pretty unique. And then you enter into your upstairs bedroom. Up here is a queen bed. So this place can sleep up to four guests. And there are also nightstands on each side with dimmable lights above your bed. And a couple of windows in here. It looks great. There’s also a TV up here if you want to lay in bed and watch some movies or anything like that. But up here is a cozy spot. Aframe Cabin w.

We’ll continue along a little further. You have a hammock and your fire pit. They provide Firestarter for you and firewood, which is fantastic. And of course, those s’mores kits so you can sit out here make some s’mores enjoy you’re surrounding the leaves look amazing out here. And Savannah even chops some wood for us for a fire, so props to her she can do anything. The hosts even left their cool Chevy truck here, and it looks incredible. I think it fits in with the cabin so nice. I love it. And now, on the other side, there’s an open area you can walk to, and it has a picnic table out here.
And it’s just a nice area private surrounded by trees, and there’s, even more to explore if you want to walk through the woods, and it’s just beautiful here, so that is everything that this Airbnb has to offer. I think this is an excellent place if you want to come out and get away from it all in the beautiful nature and a fantastic cabin.
